Cookie policy
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. At Karmel Rugs we use very few, and we activate analytics and advertising cookies only if you accept them.
How your consent works
We use Google Consent Mode version 2. Until you decide, Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tags remain inactive and set no cookies. If you reject them, they stay inactive. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of every page.
Cookies and storage we use
- Necessary: an entry in your browser's local storage that saves your cookie choice so we do not ask you on every visit. It is kept for twelve months. It does not require consent because without it the site cannot respect your choice.
- Analytics, Google Analytics 4: the _ga cookie and the _ga_ cookie followed by an identifier. They tell us how many people visit the site, which pages they view and from which device. They last up to two years.
- Advertising, Google Ads: the _gcl_au cookie and Google conversion cookies. They tell us whether a visit that came from an ad ended in a WhatsApp contact. They last up to ninety days.
The order tracking page uses no cookies. The tracking code and phone digits are sent only to show you the status of your order and are not stored in your browser.
Providers
Analytics and advertising cookies belong to Google, which may process the information on servers outside Mexico under its own privacy policies. We do not use social media cookies on this site.
How to block them in your browser
In addition to our preferences panel, you can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you do, the site will keep working normally.
