Tecamachalco, one step from Lomas
Lomas de Tecamachalco sits in the State of Mexico, yet for us it is part of the same western route. Its streets carry the names of fountains, such as Fuente de Pirámides, and run up and down around Avenida de las Fuentes between spacious homes on several levels, many with Persian rugs in the living room, dining room and study.
Many of these homes have interior stairs and sunken living rooms. Before pickup we ask where each piece is, whether furniture must be moved and whether the street has a gate or private access. That way we arrive with the right number of people and keep no one waiting. If the house has several pieces, we collect them in one visit and each one receives its own tracking code.
Rugs in daily use
In Tecamachalco, families live with their rugs. There are pieces in family rooms, children's bedrooms and dining rooms where many guests are received. That means food and coffee stains, pet marks and wear along the paths people walk every day.
In the diagnosis we identify each stain and tell you clearly which ones can be removed and which can only be softened. The piece is then deeply dusted, washed in an industrial automatic washer or by hand if it is silk, spun in a centrifuge and dried under controlled conditions.
